Maruti Suzuki India Limited has provided an advance intimation to the National Stock Exchange of India Limited and BSE Limited regarding a decision to increase prices on its vehicles.

The company has decided to increase prices on selected models by up to ₹20,000. This price increase is scheduled to come into effect in September 2026.

The primary reason cited for the price hike is the continuous sustained increase in input costs. The company notes that inflationary burdens remain at elevated levels and the adverse cost environment is enduring.

For the past few months, the company has been employing continuous cost reduction measures in an effort to mitigate the cost impact to the extent possible. Despite these efforts, the company states it is now constrained to pass on a portion of the increased costs to the market.

The company emphasizes its intention to continue ensuring that the impact on customers is kept to the minimum extent possible.
