Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Ltd. has concluded acquisition of 3,66,49,271 shares in Colombo Dockyard PLC (CDPLC), raising total stake to 51%.
The acquisition was executed via a Mandatory Offer under Sri Lanka's Company Takeovers and Mergers Code 1995 (amended 2003).
This follows a Tripartite Agreement with CDPLC and Onomichi Dockyard Co. Ltd., disclosed initially on 21 January 2026.
