Land Acquisition Details

Global Health Limited (Medanta) has been allotted a land parcel measuring 10,560 square metres at Siddharth Vihar Yojna, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, by the Uttar Pradesh Housing & Development Board (UPAVP).

The land parcel was acquired for approximately ₹165.82 crore on a freehold basis through an online auction conducted by UPAVP.

Proposed Hospital Development

The strategically located land parcel has the potential to accommodate the development of a 350+ bedded hospital, subject to customary and statutory approvals and the approval of the Company's Board of Directors.

Strategic Rationale

The proposed hospital is expected to strengthen the Company's presence in the Delhi-NCR healthcare ecosystem and provide access to high-quality tertiary and quaternary healthcare services for the rapidly growing population of Ghaziabad and surrounding catchment areas.

Ghaziabad represents an attractive healthcare market supported by:

  • Large and growing population
  • Increasing urbanisation
  • Expanding residential and commercial development
  • Strong connectivity with Delhi-NCR
  • Important catchment for neighbouring areas including eastern Delhi, Meerut, Saharanpur, Hapur, Bulandshahr and western Uttar Pradesh

The Siddharth Vihar location provides an opportunity to establish a large-scale integrated healthcare facility in a strategically located and rapidly developing part of Ghaziabad.

He added that the proposed hospital would complement the existing Medanta Noida presence, enabling the company to strengthen its healthcare network across the eastern and central parts of the Delhi-NCR region and improve access to high-quality tertiary and quaternary care.

Global Health Limited operates under the "Medanta" brand with a network of six hospitals currently in operation (Gurgaon, Indore, Ranchi, Lucknow, Patna and Noida) spanning 5.6 million sq. ft. with 3,737 installed beds as of June 30, 2026.
