Mercedes-Benz and Nvidia Expand Partnership on Driver Systems
Mercedes-Benz and Nvidia have announced an expanded collaboration aimed at developing driver assistance and automated driving systems for future vehicles, as reported on 16‑10‑2026. Under the extended partnership, Mercedes‑Benz will supply its automotive engineering knowledge together with the MB.OS operating system, which forms the software foundation for vehicle control.
Nvidia will contribute its Hyperion compute and sensor architecture, the Alpamayo Stack software suite, and the Halos safety system, providing the high‑performance computing and safety layers required for advanced driver‑assistance functions.
