Mercedes-Benz agreed to sell its Athlon leasing subsidiary to BNP Paribas, generating expected hundreds of millions euros liquidity.
The divestiture decision was made at end of last year and the contract was finalized in April, per the quarterly earnings report.
Deal is slated to close in the second half of 2026, pending regulatory approvals, with financial terms undisclosed.
