Merck Foundation, together with Kenya’s First Lady Rachel Ruto, launched the Educating Linda program at Kenya State House.
The initiative will provide annual scholarships to 47 high‑performing, under‑privileged Kenyan schoolgirls until they complete their education.
Across Africa, Educating Linda supports over 1,250 schoolgirls in 21 countries and supplies essential school materials to thousands.
Merck Foundation has also awarded 328 scholarships to Kenyan healthcare providers in 44 critical specialties.
