Meta Platforms settled a lawsuit with Breathitt County School District, avoiding a June 15 trial in Oakland federal court.
The case, part of ~1,200 districts' claims, originally sought over $60 million to fund a 15‑year mental‑health program.
Earlier settlements were reached with Alphabet’s YouTube, Snap and TikTok; Meta’s stock rose 0.64% after the announcement.
Snap shares jumped 4.63% and Alphabet’s Google rose 0.79% following the settlement news.
