On October 7, 2026, in New Delhi, Metanoia Communications Inc. and Aethertek announced a strategic collaboration with TechPhosis to develop and commercialize 5G FR2 and next‑generation 6G FR3 solutions for India’s telecommunications market, aligning with the Make‑in‑India, Design‑in‑India, and Integrate‑in‑India initiatives.

Collaboration Details

The partnership combines Metanoia’s Albizia FR2/FR3 radio platform, which incorporates the Cobra MT2824 digital front‑end (DFE) System‑on‑Chip (SoC), with Aethertek’s NOVA Antenna‑in‑Module (AiM) and TechPhosis’s 5G Core (5GC) and Distributed Unit (DU) platforms. This integration creates open‑architecture private and public cellular networks based on O‑RAN Alliance Working Group 7 (WG7) white‑box hardware.

Technology Overview

Metanoia introduced MOSART (Metanoia Open Source Advanced Radio Technology) software, hosted on GitLab, which runs natively on WG7 hardware. MOSART supports standard WG7 platforms, including 24 dBm indoor, 5 W outdoor, and 50 dBm FR2/FR3 outdoor radio units. The Albizia FR2/FR3 radio leverages the Cobra MT2824 SoC for power efficiency, compact size, and versatility, enabling validated beamforming and RF performance for high‑capacity, low‑latency 5G‑Advanced and early 6G deployments.
