MicroCloud Hologram Inc. (HOLO) shares jumped 7.3% on Wednesday after unveiling a post‑quantum cryptography scheme for Bitcoin.
The company introduced a Strong Designated Verifier Signature scheme using multivariate polynomial equations that resist quantum attacks and can be soft‑forked into Bitcoin.
MicroCloud holds over $390 million in cash and plans to spend more than $400 million on quantum‑security, computing research and holography development.
It aims to become a leading provider of quantum‑resistant Bitcoin security technology and will submit the scheme to the Bitcoin Improvement Process.
