Midwest Energy Limited has commenced commercial production at its 1.2 GWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) manufacturing facility located in Bengaluru. The disclosure is made pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 and SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/49/14/14(7)2025-CFD-POD2/l/3762/2026 dated January 30, 2026.

The manufacturing facility has integrated Cell-to-Container manufacturing capabilities enabling production of:
- Battery modules
- Battery trays
- Battery racks
- Fully integrated containerized Battery Energy Storage Systems

- Annual manufacturing capacity: 1.2 GWh
- Capacity range: 3 kWh to 6 MWh (48V–1500V)
- Applications: Commercial, industrial, renewable energy and utility-scale sectors
- Quality standards: UL 1973, UL 9540 and UL 9540A compliant
- Features: Advanced quality assurance, traceability, end-of-line testing, and customized solutions
Date of Commencement
Commercial production commenced on July 20, 2026.

Midwest Energy is the technology and clean energy arm of the Midwest Business House, a Hyderabad-headquartered industrial group established in 1981 with diversified operations spanning mineral exploration, mining, mineral processing, engineering and advanced materials.
The company is also building a rare earth permanent magnet eco-system in India and has established a commercial scale magnet manufacturing unit with:
