The Millennium Group of Schools, a leading K‑12 chain in India, announced the Millennium AI Creators Championship 2026, a national competition aimed at encouraging responsible use of artificial intelligence among school students.
Participation Details
The contest is open to students in Grades 5 to 12 from schools across India and participation is free. Registration opens on 15 August 2026 and closes on 31 August 2026. The winners will be declared on 12 September 2026.
Competition Structure
Three age‑specific categories are defined:
- Grades 5‑7: Storytelling Challenge
- Grades 8‑9: Song Creation Challenge
- Grades 10‑12: Short‑Film Challenge
All challenges are built around the theme “Sustainable Cities. Intelligent Futures.”, encouraging participants to envision cleaner, greener, kinder and more inclusive urban environments using AI‑assisted creativity.
Expected Reach
The organizers aim to engage more than 25,000 students, 50,000 parents and 2,000 educators, and anticipate generating over one million digital impressions nationwide.
Broadcast and Partnerships
Times Now, the English news channel of The Times Network, will serve as the Official Broadcast Partner. Winners will receive a fully‑sponsored AI Fellowship powered by TechnoKids in association with Knowledge Hub, and robotics kits supplied by E‑BOT Plus.
Educational Support
All registered participants will obtain complimentary access to expert‑led sessions covering prompt engineering, AI ethics and digital citizenship, designed to strengthen critical thinking, creativity and innovation.
Jury and Evaluation
An esteemed national jury comprising Vikas Kanungo, Dr. Sujitha Kurup, Dr. Amita Kapoor and other distinguished experts will assess entries on originality, creativity, storytelling, relevance to the theme, responsible AI usage and overall impact.

AI Assists.” Dr. Priyanka Jain, Head of Academics, emphasized that the initiative seeks to teach students to use AI thoughtfully, ethically and creatively while tackling real‑world challenges of sustainable cities.
