Mint Money, the fintech application of the Hindustan Times Group, announced the launch of its Bill Payments feature on 11 September 2026 in New Delhi, unveiling it at the Global Fintech Fest 2026. The service is powered by Bharat Connect, the Bharat Bill Payment System (BBPS) ecosystem operated by NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited (NBBL).

Features

The Bill Payments module allows users to track their bills, receive timely reminders, and make payments directly within the Mint Money app. It supports instant settlement, an Auto‑Pay option, and rewards on bill payments, aiming to combine convenience with better money‑management insights.

Puneet Jain, CEO – Digital of HT Media Group, stated that while credit, investment and insurance products are widely available, guidance is lacking; Mint Money therefore integrates trusted financial content with payment capabilities to help users understand what they are paying for and act with confidence. Dr. Noopur Chaturvedi, Managing Director & CEO of NPCI Bharat BillPay Limited, highlighted NBBL’s vision of making digital bill payments accessible, convenient and secure for every Indian, and expressed satisfaction in collaborating with Mint Money to extend the reach of digital bill payments and drive greater adoption.
