MoD Signs Rs 858 Cr Contracts for Air Defence, P8I Aircraft Maintenance

The Ministry of Defence signed two contracts worth Rs 858 crore for defense procurement and maintenance.
A Rs 445 crore contract with Russia's JSC Rosoboronexport for Tunguska Air Defence Missile Systems for the Indian Army.
A Rs 413 crore contract with Boeing India for depot-level maintenance of P8I maritime patrol aircraft.
The P8I contract supports the 'Make in India' initiative with 100% indigenous content and in-country MRO.
