MoEngage Completes Acquisition of Aampe

On June 24, 2026, from Singapore, MoEngage announced that it has acquired Aampe, a San Francisco‑based AI infrastructure company founded in 2020. The acquisition integrates Aampe’s reinforcement‑learning engine—built on Thompson Sampling, multi‑armed bandit algorithms, and causal inference—directly into MoEngage’s agentic customer data and engagement platform.

MoEngage, which serves more than 1,350 consumer brands worldwide, will now offer Aampe’s per‑user AI agents that operate at individual‑customer granularity. At scale, these agents run hundreds of millions of dedicated AI instances and process in excess of 200 billion decisions each week. Existing Aampe customers, including Grab, Swiggy, ZenBusiness and Taxfix, will continue to be served without disruption and will benefit from MoEngage’s broader engineering, data‑science and support resources.

"Every marketer wants to show up at the right moment, with the right message, for every individual user. The challenge has never been ambition, it's been infrastructure," said Raviteja Dodda, Co‑founder and CEO of MoEngage. He added that Aampe has built a system that continuously optimizes content, timing, channel and frequency at the individual level.

Aampe’s co‑founders—Paul Meinshausen (CEO), Schaun Wheeler (Chief Scientist) and Sami Abboud (CTO)—will join MoEngage to lead its Agentic Decisioning initiatives. Paul Meinshausen noted, "We built Aampe on one conviction: one agent per user, not one model per segment," emphasizing the persistent, evolving understanding each agent develops of a customer’s preferences and behavior.

The acquisition enables a “Start Anywhere” approach: B2C brands can plug Aampe’s per‑user agents into their existing engagement or marketing automation platforms without any disruption, while MoEngage customers receive Aampe’s capabilities natively, eliminating the need for separate systems. The combined AI labs will focus on advancing the next generation of agentic marketing, leveraging MoEngage’s global customer base to accelerate production‑scale learning.

Aampe’s platform is already deployed across leading consumer brands in fintech, food delivery, travel, media and e‑commerce. For example, Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading super‑app, serves over 52 million monthly transacting users across eight markets and uses the agents to coordinate communications across mobility, food delivery and digital banking within a single app.

MoEngage operates globally with 15 offices across North America, EMEA and Asia, and counts brands such as Coca‑Cola, Domino’s, Kredivo, Kayak, Soundcloud, 7‑Eleven, Zalora, Air Asia Move and Robinsons Retail among its clientele.
