Partnership Overview

Mohan Babu University (MBU) and PhysicsWallah (PW Skills) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the MBU campus in Tirupati on 23 September 2026. The signing ceremony was attended by MBU Chancellor Dr M. Mohan Babu, PW Skills Co‑Founder and CEO Alakh Pandey, MBU Pro‑Chancellor Vishnu Manchu and Trustee Vinay Maheshwari, along with senior university leadership, faculty and students.

Programme Structure and Content

The collaboration will deliver industry‑aligned learning to MBU students through PW Skills, integrating practical training, live projects, exposure to contemporary tools and technologies, and sessions led by industry professionals. A structured curriculum will cover soft‑skill development, aptitude, domain‑specific knowledge, role‑specific competencies and interview readiness. The initiative adopts a two‑teacher mentorship model in which PW Skills industry experts provide practical exposure while MBU faculty mentors support students throughout their academic journey. The programme is scheduled over three semesters, allowing progressive capability building alongside the regular curriculum.

Institutional Background

MBU boasts a 34‑year educational legacy, offering more than 108 programmes to over 18,000 students. The university is NAAC A+ accredited and has received a QS I‑GAUGE Diamond rating. Its technology‑focused academic ecosystem includes programmes in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing and DevOps. Internationally, MBU has a Joint Degree Programme with Penn State University and an association with Germany’s RWTH Aachen University, enhancing global exposure for its students.
