MTNL Extends Director HR Additional Charge

• Dr. Kalyan Sagar Nippani, Director (Human Resources) at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), has been given an extension of the additional charge of the post of Director (HR & EB) at MTNL.
• The extension is for a further period of three months, effective from October 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
• This is an interim measure by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Ministry of Communications, Government of India, to ensure the post does not remain vacant.
• The assignment is subject to the approval of the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
• Dr. Nippani will not be entitled to any additional remuneration during the period of holding this additional charge.
• The order was issued by the Government of India, Ministry of Communications, Department of Telecommunications, vide Letter No. E-2-3/2021-PSA dated September 30, 2026.
