Strategic Expansion Initiative
Nandani Creation Limited (NCL), operating under the Jaipur Kurti brand, announced 'Project 50' - a strategic retail expansion program aimed at expanding its retail stores network from 18 stores to 50 stores by March 31, 2027. The initiative represents the next phase of Jaipur Kurti's growth journey, combining retail expansion with investments in technology, AI-led business intelligence, product development, and operational capabilities.
Expansion Plan Details
Under Project 50, the company plans to add 32 net new stores to its existing network, with expansion planned in phases at a targeted pace of approximately 4-6 stores per month. The expansion is designed to create a stronger and more integrated omnichannel platform across Retail, D2C, Marketplaces, and Social Commerce channels.
Key Growth Levers
The initiative focuses on five strategic growth levers:
- Expand: Increase retail footprint and customer reach
- Product: Strengthen design, merchandise, and newness with demand-led planning
- AI, Data & Analytics: Deploy technology, AI, and advanced analytics across demand forecasting, assortment planning, inventory allocation, customer behavior, pricing, replenishment, and store productivity
- Inventory: Improve allocation, availability, and inventory rotation across channels
- Scale: Build production, sourcing, people, and supply-chain capacity ahead of growth
- Profitable Growth & Discipline: Link expansion with store-level economics, productivity, working-capital planning, cash-flow management, and disciplined capital allocation
Operational Infrastructure
The company will strengthen operating infrastructure including production, sourcing, warehouse, technology, merchandise allocation, and store operations. A centralized inventory approach will manage stores, D2C, and marketplaces as one commercial ecosystem. Expansion will be evaluated through parameters including store productivity, like-for-like growth, inventory efficiency, sell-through, customer acquisition and retention, and working-capital efficiency.
