NBCC (India) Limited has formally signed an agreement with the Government of the Republic of Seychelles for the Construction of the Ile Aurore Housing Project in Seychelles. This follows a previous intimation via letter No. NBCC/NSEBSE/2025-26 dated March 30, 2026, where NBCC was engaged as Project Management Consultant.
The project involves construction of 1008 affordable housing units along with associated infrastructure requirements, including a sewage treatment plant (STP). The total project value is USD 75 million (approximately ₹625 crore based on current exchange rates).
The project is to be funded by Export-Import Bank of India (EXIM Bank) under their Line of Credit (LoC) scheme.
The agreement was signed on July 29, 2026, in Seychelles in the presence of H.E. Sebastien Pillay, Vice President of the Republic of Seychelles, and Shri K. P. Mahadevaswamy, CMD of NBCC.
The signatories to the agreement were Mr. Joseph Francois, Secretary of State for Lands, Housing and Infrastructure, Government of the Republic of Seychelles, and Mr. Pradeep Shanna, Executive Director (Engineering), NBCC.
The project aims to enhance urban living standards and support sustainable development in Seychelles.
