NCPA Mudra Festival 2026 Showcases 75 Schools

NCPA concluded Mudra Dance Festival 2026 with performances on April 16, 23, 24 and inaugural interschool competition on April 20, 22.
Over 75 academic schools submitted 115 entries across Kathak, Bharatanatyam and other styles, with multiple prize categories for junior and senior groups.
Dr. Swapnokalpa Dasgupta highlighted the festival’s focus on early‑stage learning and growing school interest in classical dance.
NCPA’s CSR programmes support dance education in government and aided schools, reinforcing long‑term classical dance engagement.
