Neeyamo Launches Global Payroll Capability Center Framework

Neeyamo, a technology‑enabled provider of global payroll and Employer of Record solutions, issued a press release on 17 September 2026 announcing the Global Payroll Capability Center (GpCC) framework. The GpCC framework allows a Global Capability Center (GCC) to own and operate payroll for more than 160 countries as a single enterprise function, replacing the traditional country‑by‑country model that relies on separate vendors, systems and owners.

The framework is built on four core components:

  • Ownership and Governance – a single global payroll owner within the GCC with defined operating cadence, service levels and escalation paths across all markets.
  • Technology and Data – one payroll platform and data model, native to every operating country and integrated with enterprise HCM and finance systems.
  • Standardized Process – a common end‑to‑end payroll process framework, with variations only where local statutes require.
  • In‑country Execution and Compliance – local statutory capability in each market, connected to the global framework while handling calculation, filing and compliance in‑house.

By consolidating these elements, GCCs can operate one global process, one data model and one set of controls while still meeting country‑specific compliance requirements.

Neeyamo’s payroll platform integrates with leading HCM systems and leverages Neeyamo’s legal entities in 45 countries, extending the framework to markets where the enterprise has no local presence. The company states that the framework is released as an open industry model that any GCC can adopt; it was first outlined at N'gene, Neeyamo’s GCC Conclave held in Hyderabad earlier this year.

According to the NASSCOM‑Zinnov India GCC Landscape Report 2026, India hosts 2,117 GCCs that have expanded beyond their original technology and back‑office scope to include finance, HR, analytics and transformation functions, though global payroll has remained an exception.
