NHPC Limited announced the appointment of Cost Auditors for the financial year 2026-27 in compliance with Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The Board of Directors made these appointments during their meeting held on Friday, 28th August 2026. The meeting commenced at 02:00 P.M. and concluded at 03:40 P.M.

Appointed Cost Audit Firms and Their Assignments

The following firms of Cost Accountants were appointed as Cost Auditors of the Company for FY 2026-27:

  • M/s Narasimha Murthy & Co., Haryana - Uri-I, Uri-II and Kishanganga power stations

  • M/s K.G. Goyal & Co., Jaipur - Parbati-II, Parbati-III and Dulhasti power stations
  • M/s Diwanji & Co., Delhi - Chamera-II, Chamera-III and Bairasiul power stations
  • M/s K. L. Jaisingh & Co., New Delhi - Wind Power Project (Jaisalmer), Solar Power Project (Tamilnadu), Karnisar Solar (Bikaner), 100 MW Solar Power Project (Andhra Pradesh), 200 MW Solar Park Khavda, Stage-III (Gujarat), 40 MW Solar Power Project (Ganjam, Odisha)*

Conditional Appointments

*Appointments for the 100 MW Solar Power Project (Andhra Pradesh), 200 MW Solar Power Project Khavda (Stage-III, Gujarat), and 40 MW Solar Power Project (Ganjam, Odisha) are subject to these projects becoming commercially operative during FY 2026-27.

**Appointment for the Rangit-IV Project is subject to the merger of Jalpower Corporation Limited with NHPC Limited and the project becoming commercially operative during FY 2026-27.

Lead Cost Auditor Appointment

M/s Dhananjay V. Joshi & Associates, New Delhi has been appointed as Lead Cost Auditor for consolidation of Cost Audit Report of all power stations and submission of Consolidated Cost Audit Report in Form CRA-3 for financial year 2026-27.
