Nike announced that Chief Innovation Officer Tony Bignell will leave the company after serving less than a year.
Bignell, appointed by CEO Elliott Hill in June, becomes the third innovation chief to exit within three years.
Andy Caine, Nike vice‑president and creative director for sportswear, will assume the role effective Sunday, reporting to Phil McCartney.
The departure is stated as Bignell leaving to pursue his own creative and philanthropic interests.
