  • District Collector and Magistrate of Idukki and Kozhikode districts in Kerala
  • Managed relief camps on Iraq-Amman border and coordinated repatriation during Kuwait-Iraq War (1990)
  • Significant role in Kerala Tourism including establishment of Institute of Tourism and Travel Management and conceptualization of "God's Own Country" campaign
  • Deputy Election Commissioner in Election Commission of India (conducted Bihar Legislative Assembly Elections 2005)
  • Chief Technical Adviser for Nigerian General Elections 2007 under UNDP
  • Joint Secretary in Ministry of Tourism, Government of India (conceptualized "Find What You Seek" campaign)
  • Formulated India's first Port Privatisation Policy
  • Founding Managing Director of National Highways and Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited (NHIDCL)
  • Secretary to Government of India in Ministry of New and Renewable Energy and Ministry of Culture
  • Chairman of Real Estate Regulatory Authorities (RERA) of Delhi and Chandigarh
