NJ Transit Cuts Cup Ticket to $105

NJ Transit announced it will lower World Cup round‑trip ticket price from $150 to $105 after public backlash.
CEO Kris Kolluri said Governor Mikie Sherrill ordered the agency to seek private sponsorships to reduce the fare.
The $105 fare still exceeds the $13 round‑trip cost between Penn Station and MetLife Stadium, covering transport for 40,000 fans per game.
