NLC India Limited has submitted a regulatory disclosure pursuant to Regulation 30 and 51 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 regarding changes to its board of directors.

The Ministry of Coal, Government of India, through its Letter No. 21/3/2011-BA/Estt-(i) dated July 7, 2026, has appointed Shri Gopal Singh (DIN: 11815925), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Coal, as Part-time Official Director of the company. This appointment is effective immediately from July 10, 2026 and will continue until further orders. Shri Gopal Singh replaces Shri Sanoj Kumar Jha (DIN: 11100701) as Part-time Official Director.

Concurrently, Shri Sanoj Kumar Jha, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal, will continue to hold the additional charge of Chairman and Managing Director of the company. This interim arrangement is effective for an initial period of three months starting July 1, 2026, or until the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever occurs earliest.

The company affirms that Shri Gopal Singh is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of Securities and Exchange Board of India or any other authority.

Shri Gopal Singh is a 2003 Batch Indian Forest Service (IFS) officer of the Bihar Cadre, currently serving as Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Coal, Government of India. He holds a Ph.D. in Agronomy from Agriculture Research Institute, New Delhi. In his current role at the Ministry of Coal, he is responsible for key functions including coal sector administration and policy, welfare, land acquisition, rehabilitation, industrial relations, and other strategic matters assigned to his division.
