Shri Nath began his career with NMDC in 1992 and served the company for nearly fifteen years in various commercial roles. He subsequently held key positions with Essar Steel Limited and ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India before joining Odisha Mining Corporation Limited (OMC) as General Manager (Sales & Marketing) in 2021. In 2024, he was promoted as Chief General Manager (Sales & Marketing) at OMC.

Performance Achievements

During his tenure at OMC, Shri Nath played a pivotal role in driving growth in iron ore sales and revenue. Under his leadership, OMC's iron ore sales increased from 12.33 million tonnes in FY 2020-21 to 38.26 million tonnes in FY 2025-26. He implemented customer-centric initiatives, transparent pricing mechanisms, digital transformation, and logistics reforms.

Shri Nath has authored more than 11 research papers on mining and metals sector issues and has been invited as keynote speaker and guest speaker at various national and international industry forums including SGX, Fastmarkets, Mysteel, SMM, IMARC, Metal Junction, Metalogic, and Steelmint.
