NMDC Steel Appoints Vivek Nishant Nath Director Commercial

Key Appointment Details

Ministry of Steel, Government of India vide Order No. S-14013/2/2025-BLA dated 14.07.2026 has appointed Shri Vivek Nishant Nath, Chief General Manager of Odisha Mining Corporation Limited, to the post of Director (Commercial) on the Board of NMDC Limited. The appointment is for a period of 5 years from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Co-terminus Arrangement with NMDC Steel Limited

Ministry of Steel vide earlier Order dated 20.03.2023 had intimated that the CMD, Functional Directors and Government Directors of NMDC Limited will also hold equivalent positions on the board of NMDC Steel Limited on co-terminus basis, until further communication. Accordingly, Shri Vivek Nishant Nath will also serve as Director (Commercial) on the Board of NMDC Steel Limited, subject to assumption of charge in terms of the Order dated 14.07.2026.
