MUMBAI, India – On 1 October 2026, NMIMS School of Business Management (SBM) announced that applications for its MBA 2027 intake will close on 10 October 2026, giving prospective students a final window to apply.
Programme Details
The flagship MBA Core programme is delivered across six campuses – Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Bengaluru, Indore, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad – providing a unified academic foundation while exposing students to diverse business ecosystems. The Mumbai campus additionally offers specialised MBA programmes in Human Resources, Pharmaceutical Management, Business Analytics and Digital Transformation.

NMIMS SBM’s recent recognitions include the Financial Times Masters in Management Ranking 2026, where it was placed 73rd globally, 10th among Indian institutes and 29th worldwide for Career Progress.
Placement Outcomes
For the 2024‑26 placement cycle, more than 1,800 recruiters participated, and the institute provided 100% placement assistance across all campuses. Graduates secured an average cost‑to‑company (CTC) of ₹24.60 lakh, with the highest reported CTC of ₹41.28 lakh. Recruiters spanned sectors such as BFSI, consulting, FMCG, IT and analytics, covering both established firms and start‑ups.
Application & Selection Process
Applicants must complete both NMAT 2026 registration and the NMIMS SBM application by the 10 October deadline. The process involves: (1) visiting https://nmat.nmims.edu, completing Step‑1, verifying email, registering for NMAT and paying the exam fee; (2) revisiting the site, selecting Step‑2, logging in with the NMAT by GMAC ID and password, completing the NMIMS application form, choosing preferred programmes and paying the application fee. The final merit list will be prepared based on NMAT score, personal interview, competency test, work experience and academic performance.
