Event Overview
Nongshim operated its “Shin Ramyun Bunsik” booth at the HYBE INDIA Pop‑Up Park in Kolkata on 19 September 2026, drawing approximately 3,000 visitors in a single day. Attendees sampled Shin Ramyun and participated in interactive activities such as a roulette game, linking the product experience with K‑culture fan engagement.
City Rollout
Following the Kolkata activation, the HYBE INDIA Pop‑Up Park will be staged in Chennai, Chandigarh and Kochi, extending the Shin Ramyun experience to three additional cities. Including the six‑city first‑half tour, Nongshim will have presented the brand in a total of ten Indian cities during 2026.
Marketing Partnerships & Export Growth
In May 2026, Nongshim entered a partnership with Blinkit, one of India’s leading quick‑commerce platforms, to broaden distribution. The company also reported that its exports to India in the first half of 2026 rose by roughly 47 % year‑on‑year.
HYBE INDIA Audition Context
The pop‑up events are part of HYBE INDIA Audition: Final Call, a local audition initiative aimed at discovering the next global girl group, and serve as an immersive cultural hub featuring K‑pop performances, fan activities, creative workshops and brand collaborations.
Company Statement
A Nongshim spokesperson said, “In Kolkata, we saw many young consumers enjoying Shin Ramyun firsthand alongside K‑Culture. As we continue meeting local fans in Chennai, Chandigarh, and Kochi, we hope more consumers will take an interest in experiencing K‑Food with Shin Ramyun.”
