The Missile Defense Agency awarded the modification on April 3 under 10 U.S. Code 4022(a)(2)(B), with $174.1 million obligated from Public Law 119‑21 funds.
The contract supports development of the Glide Phase Interceptor, targeting hypersonic threat interception, with an accelerated schedule and completion expected by June 2028.
