Profile: Mr. M. B. Ravi Shankar, aged 59 years, is a Mechanical Engineering professional with over 33 years of experience in manufacturing, plant operations, quality assurance, process engineering and supplier development, including 5 years of overseas experience.
Previous Roles: He has held senior positions including Plant Head, Managing Director, Director – MAU and General Manager – Operations with reputed manufacturing organisations.
Industry Experience: His experience covers bearing manufacturing, press shop/stamping, machine shop, die casting, forging and process engineering, along with expertise in IATF 16949, ISO 9001, Lean, TPM, TQM, Kaizen, PPAP and FMEA.
Specific Bearing Industry Experience: He has direct bearing industry experience with Karnataka Ball Bearings Corporation Ltd. and Jay Needle Bearing Corporation, Mysore, and has led manufacturing plants with significant operational and P&L responsibilities.
