The ceremony was performed on November 3, 2026, at the new land parcel in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai, ahead of the start of construction.
The new office building is located at plot numbers C-81 and C-82, Block G, Bandra Kurla Complex, Mumbai. The plot spans approximately 10,995 square metres and has been allotted by the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) on an 80-year lease arrangement.
The building design was created by architect Hafeez Contractor and was unveiled during the ceremony. The development is intended to support the Exchange's long-term growth and expansion plans.
The ceremony was attended by Shri Srinivas Injeti (Chairperson, NSE) and Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan (MD & CEO, NSE), along with members of the Board and NSE's senior leadership team.
