NTPC Limited, the Maharatna power generation company under the Ministry of Power, announced the live deployment of Avaali Solutions’ Velocious Sourcing and Supplier Experience solution across its entire supplier ecosystem, including all subsidiaries.

Scope and Scale

The Velocious platform will be accessed by more than 50,000 vendors that supply goods and services to NTPC and its subsidiaries. The solution provides a self‑service environment where vendors can manage their profiles, track order status, and submit invoices digitally across multiple scenarios. The rollout is described as one of the largest supplier‑experience initiatives in the Indian public sector.

Expected Benefits

NTPC expects the system to improve compliance, shorten turnaround times, reduce manual effort, and strengthen supplier relationships through greater transparency and ease of engagement. The company anticipates faster invoice processing and enhanced operational efficiency.
