NTPC Limited, India's largest integrated power utility, has announced the Mumbai Regional Round of its national NTPC Electron Quiz 2026-27 for engineering and management students. The event will be held on September 17, 2026, at Bharat Ratnam – Mega CFC, SEEPZ Special Economic Zone, Andheri (East), Mumbai, with the theme "Anything and Everything from the World of Business and Management.
The competition structure includes a written round followed by an on-stage multimedia finale for the top six teams. The winning team at the regional level will receive ₹60,000, with runner-up and third-place teams receiving ₹40,000 and ₹20,000 respectively. Teams securing fourth, fifth, and sixth positions will receive ₹8,000 each, and audience prizes will also be awarded.
The top two teams from the Mumbai regional round will qualify for the national level, where the winning team will receive ₹1,00,000, second place ₹60,000, and third place ₹40,000, with consolation prizes for other qualifying teams. There is no registration or participation fee, and institutions may nominate multiple teams through electronquiz2025@ntpc.co.in or the registration link by September 15, 2026. This annual quiz initiative has been running since 2004 as part of NTPC's student engagement efforts.
