NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has made a disclosure under Regulation 30 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015 regarding the declaration of commercial operation for a solar power project.

The disclosure announces that the third part capacity of 50 MW Solar Capacity (Cumulative 250 MW Solar) out of 300 MW Solar component has been declared on Commercial Operation. This capacity is part of a 200 MW Renewable Energy Round The Clock (RTC) project capacity located in Rajasthan.

The project is developed by Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited, which is identified as a step-down subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited, a joint venture of NTPC Green Energy Limited.

The commercial operation date is effective from 00:00 hours of 14th June 2026.

Capacity Impact

With this addition, the current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group stands at 10,621.40 MW. The total installed capacity of the NTPC Green Energy Limited Group will increase to 10,671.40 MW.

The overall NTPC group (parent company) installed capacity now stands at 90,857 MW with commercial capacity at 88,977 MW.
