NTPC Green Energy 50MW Solar Capacity Commercial Operation

Operational Update

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared commercial operation of the fourth part capacity of 50 MW solar capacity. This capacity is part of the cumulative 300 MW solar component of a 200 MW Renewable Energy Round The Clock (RTC) project located in Rajasthan.

The project is developed by Project Sixteen Renewable Power Private Limited, which is a step-down subsidiary of ONGC NTPC Green Private Limited (a joint venture of NGEL).

The commercial operation is declared effective from 00:00 hours of October 2, 2026.

Capacity Impact

With this addition:

• NTPC Green Energy Limited group's commercial capacity increases to 11,212.51 MW
• NTPC Green Energy Limited group's total installed capacity increases to 11,262.51 MW
• NTPC group's total installed capacity reaches 91,506 MW
• NTPC group's commercial capacity stands at 90,426 MW
