NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared commercial operation for the first part capacity of 64.76 MW out of the 225 MW GSECL RE Park, Khavda Solar PV Project located in Gujarat. The project is developed by NTPC Renewable Energy Limited, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited.
The commercial operation date (COD) is effective from 00:00 hours of 24th July 2026.
Capacity Impact
With this addition:
- The current commercial capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited group stands at 10,721.80 MW
- The total installed capacity of NTPC Green Energy Limited Group will increase to 10,786.56 MW
- The total installed capacity of the entire NTPC group now stands at 91,030 MW
- The commercial capacity of the NTPC group stands at 89,950 MW
