NTPC Green Energy Declares 81.34 MW Solar Project Commercial

Operational Update

NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), a subsidiary of NTPC Limited, has declared commercial operation of the first part capacity of 81.34 MW of the Kalasar Solar Energy Project located in Bikaner, Rajasthan. The commercial operation is effective from 00:00 hours on 26th September 2026.

Project Context

The 81.34 MW solar capacity is part of a larger 650 MW solar component under the 500 MW REMCL RTC Project of NTPC Renewable Energy Limited. NTPC Renewable Energy Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited, which itself is a stepdown subsidiary of NTPC Limited.

Capacity Impact

NTPC Green Energy Limited Group Impact:

• Current commercial capacity increases to 10,977.23 MW
• Total installed capacity increases to 11,058.57 MW

NTPC Limited Group Impact:

• Total installed capacity of NTPC group now stands at 91,302 MW
• Commercial capacity of NTPC group now stands at 90,222 MW
