NTPC REL Signs 1,200 MW Solar PPA with PTC India

NTPC Renewable Energy Limited (NTPC REL), a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Green Energy Limited (NGEL), has signed a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with PTC India Limited for the sale of 1,200 MW of solar power. The agreement was executed under a bilateral arrangement.

Agreement Execution

The PPA was exchanged in the presence of Dr. Manoj Kumar Jhawar (MD & CEO of PTC) and Dr. J. S. Chandok (CEO of ONGPL) along with other senior officials from both NGEL/NTPC REL and PTC India Limited.

Strategic Significance

The agreement represents a significant milestone in strengthening collaboration between the two organizations to promote clean and sustainable energy in India.
