NxtGen Reaffirms Sovereign Cloud Commitment and Denies Allegations
BENGALURU, India, Oct. 19, 2026 – NxtGen Cloud Technologies Private Limited, described as India’s largest sovereign‑cloud provider, issued a press release reaffirming its commitment to data, operational, technological and jurisdictional sovereignty. The company states that its sovereign‑cloud infrastructure is designed so that customers’ data, operations and technology remain under Indian control and are subject only to applicable Indian laws, with all data protected from foreign‑jurisdictional access or control.
The release explicitly rejects recent claims linking NxtGen to Jeffrey Epstein or suggesting that the company compromises India’s electoral infrastructure. NxtGen asserts it has never had any commercial or other association with Vinod Khosla or Khosla Ventures, and that the allegations conflate a separately disclosed commercial agreement for the purchase of servers between NxtGen and Akash Systems with an unrelated personal or political narrative. NxtGen clarifies that the agreement does not establish ownership, control or operation by Khosla Ventures, nor does it create any connection to Jeffrey Epstein. Furthermore, Akash Systems did not deliver any equipment to NxtGen and the commercial contract is not valid.
Regarding the Election Commission of India platform (ECINET), NxtGen states it does not control India’s electoral process or electoral data, and any suggestion that its sovereign‑cloud operations expose electoral data to foreign powers or private interests is speculative and unsupported by verified evidence.
NxtGen emphasizes its purpose to help organisations operate securely and confidently in India, offering greater control over data, infrastructure and technology. The company highlights that it serves more than 1,000 customers across the country through its SpeedCloud® public cloud platform, SpeedCloud Supreme – an alternative to private cloud – and industry‑vertical clouds for government and financial services. Its AI portfolio unifies GPU platforms from NVIDIA, AMD and Intel, providing a wide choice of highly optimised models for enterprise use cases.
The statement concludes by calling upon the originators and publishers of the misleading allegations to correct the record and remove the content, reserving all rights in relation to the false statements and the reputational harm caused by their publication.
