OpenAI Reaches 10GW AI Capacity Early

OpenAI announced it achieved 10 GW AI computing capacity in the U.S., meeting its Stargate target set for 2029.
The milestone was reached just over a year after launch, with more than 3 GW added in the last 90 days.
Stargate is a $500 billion AI infrastructure project involving partners Oracle, NVIDIA, Microsoft, utilities and local governments.
A Wall Street Journal report noted OpenAI missed revenue and user growth targets, including falling short of 1 billion weekly ChatGPT users.
