Oportun Shares Rise 3% with New CEO

Oportun Financial Corp (NASDAQ:OPRT) shares climbed about 3% in after‑hours trading on Thursday after announcing Doug Bland as CEO.
Bland will assume the CEO role and join Oportun’s Board of Directors effective April 20, 2026, bringing over 30 years of consumer‑finance experience.
Previously, Bland served as PayPal’s Senior VP and GM of Consumer Business, overseeing global credit, digital wallets, P2P payments, and BNPL products.
