OPPO India announced on 7 July 2026 the launch of the Reno16 Series, comprising the Reno16 and Reno16c models. The series introduces India’s first HoloVerse 3D design, an AI Portrait camera equipped with a 50 MP 3.5× telephoto lens, Natural Tone Imaging, and All‑Focal‑Length 4K 60 fps HDR video recording across all focal lengths.
Design & Display
The devices adopt a one‑piece cold‑sculpted aluminium frame with IP66, IP68, IP69 and IP69K dust‑ and water‑resistance. The Reno16 sports a 6.32‑inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, while the Reno16c offers a larger 6.57‑inch FHD+ panel at the same refresh rate. Both models feature ultra‑thin bezels, an 8.22 mm thickness for the Reno16 (182 g) and 8.44 mm thickness for the Reno16c (195 g). The Starry White variant showcases the exclusive 3D Pop Planet design, delivering a naked‑eye 3D effect, complemented by a Floating 3D Glitter finish and Dynamic Stellar Ring around the camera module.
Camera & Imaging
Each handset houses a triple‑camera array: a 50 MP Ultra‑Clear main sensor, a 50 MP Ultra‑Wide selfie sensor with a 100° field of view, and a 50 MP Ultra‑Wide rear sensor, all supported by a dual‑flash system. Both phones record 4K 60 fps HDR video on ultra‑wide, main and telephoto lenses, with 4K Auto Straighten video correction and Zoom Free Video stability. The 50 MP 3.5× telephoto portrait camera replicates an 85 mm focal length. AI‑driven features include AI Remix Collage, Pop Cam (nine curated styles), Popout 2.0, Dual‑View Video 2.0, AI Recompose, AI Perfect Shot, AI Best Face, AI Unblur, AI Eraser, AI Flash Photography 3.0 and AI Studio, all designed to enhance composition, clarity and creative expression.

The Reno16 is powered by the Snapdragon® 7 Gen 4 4 nm platform, delivering up to 27 % higher CPU performance and up to 30 % faster GPU rendering, with peak clocks of 2.8 GHz. The Reno16c uses the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 4 nm chipset, featuring four 2.5 GHz Cortex‑A78 cores, four Cortex‑A55 efficiency cores, a Mali‑G615 MC2 GPU, up to 24 GB RAM (12 GB physical + 12 GB virtual) and UFS 3.1 storage. AI LinkBoost 4.0 accelerates sharing speeds by up to 73 %, while AI HyperBoost 2.0 sustains smooth gameplay up to 120 fps. Battery capacity is 6700 mAh for the Reno16 and 7000 mAh for the Reno16c, both supporting 80 W SUPERVOOC™ fast charging.
Software & AI Features
Running on ColorOS 16, the series integrates AI Mind Pilot – a fusion of Gemini, Perplexity and ChatGPT – delivering LLM‑based assistance across a single screen. AI Snap Key provides instant access to the camera, translator, recorder and Mind Space. AI Mind Space organises captured content into a contextual “second brain”. Additional AI utilities include AI Bill Manager (receipt digitisation and expense tracking with real‑time FX rates), AI Menu Translation, AI Voice Translation, AI Live Translation, AI Recording Sticker, AI Scan and AI Extract for document digitisation.

The launch is accompanied by OPPO Bubble, a 27.5 g magnetic smart camera companion with a 1.73‑inch AMOLED preview display, 550 mAh battery, IP54 rating and wireless‑remote functionality, priced at INR 7,999 and available from 9 July. The OPPO Enco Air5 earbuds offer up to 52 dB ANC, a 5 kHz frequency range, triple‑mic noise reduction, IP55 protection, 54 hours total playback, TÜV Rheinland‑certified battery durability, a 12 mm dynamic bass driver, Bluetooth 6.1, dual‑device connectivity and AI‑enhanced call features, priced at INR 3,299 and available from 2 July.

The Reno16 5G is priced at INR 61,999 for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant and INR 67,999 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant. The Reno16c 5G is offered in three configurations: 8 GB + 128 GB at INR 46,999, 8 GB + 256 GB at INR 49,999 and 12 GB + 256 GB at INR 55,999.
