OPPO India Launches Selfie Campaign

OPPO India announced on 5 October 2026 the launch of its new brand campaign titled “Jitna Bada Dil, Utni Badi Selfie” to support the upcoming OPPO F35 Series smartphones. The campaign features Bollywood actor Bobby Deol and actor‑comedian Divyenndu Sharma and consists of three short, humour‑driven films that illustrate everyday Indian group‑selfie situations such as a neighbourhood (mohalla) gathering, a crowded family event and an enthusiastic fan club.

The narrative centres on the F35 Series’ “Group Selfie Expert” proposition, which is enabled by a 50‑megapixel Ultra‑Wide Natural Selfie Camera offering a 100° field of view. This front‑camera specification is highlighted as allowing more people to be captured in a single frame while preserving natural skin tones. The films also integrate the phone’s other imaging features, including a 50 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization, 4K Ultra‑Clear video recording and an AI Remix Collage function.

Goldee Patnaik, Head of Communications for OPPO India, stated that the F Series has historically been built on understanding everyday consumer realities and that the new imaging capabilities bring people together. He noted that the Group Selfie Expert experience, powered by the 50 MP ultra‑wide front camera, reflects the brand’s belief that technology should facilitate shared moments.

The three campaign films will be distributed across OPPO India’s digital platforms, social‑media channels and video networks, providing snackable, humour‑led stories that reinforce the message that “there is always room for one more when the moment matters.” The press release also includes background on OPPO’s global and Indian operations, mentioning that OPPO Mobiles India Pvt Ltd was founded in 2014, is headquartered in Gurugram, and runs a large manufacturing facility in Greater Noida capable of producing approximately 200 smartphones in under ten minutes.
