Technical Specifications – Performance
The K14 Plus is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 MAX chipset built on a 4 nm process. The octa‑core CPU comprises four Cortex‑A78 cores clocked up to 2.5 GHz and four Cortex‑A55 cores up to 2.0 GHz, paired with an Arm Mali‑G615 GPU. MediaTek and OPPO Lab data claim a 30 % CPU multi‑core performance boost and a 35 % GPU boost over the previous Dimensity generation. The device records an AnTuTu score exceeding 1 million on the 8 GB + 256 GB variant (Benchmark V12). Memory options include LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage across 6 GB + 128 GB, 8 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB configurations, with up to 16 GB RAM expansion on the 8 GB variants.
Display and Imaging
A 17.22 cm (6.8‑inch) 1.5K AMOLED Ultra Bright panel delivers a 2772 × 1272 resolution (450 PPI) and supports 1.07 billion colours with 100 % DCI‑P3 coverage. The display reaches a peak brightness of 3600 nits and 1800 nits full‑screen brightness, features 2160 Hz high‑frequency PWM dimming, and offers an adaptive refresh rate up to 144 Hz (switching among 60 Hz, 90 Hz, 120 Hz and 144 Hz). Bezels measure 1.66 mm (top), 1.65 mm (sides) and 1.90 mm (bottom), giving a 93.6 % screen‑to‑body ratio.
The rear camera system includes a 50 MP primary sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 1/2‑inch sensor, f/1.8 aperture and autofocus, capable of 4K video recording and 4K Ultra‑Steady video. Additional imaging capabilities comprise Turbo RAW multi‑frame processing, AI Night Mode, Dual‑View recording, Motion Photos, in‑sensor zoom, AI Portrait Glow, AI Popout 2.0, AI Remix Collage, AI Recompose and AI Eraser. The front‑facing camera is a 16 MP Sony IMX480 unit, with the display acting as a soft‑key light for low‑light selfies. An underwater photography mode with a dedicated colour profile and auto‑drainage routine is also supported.
Battery, Power Management and Endurance
The phone houses a 6‑year durable 8000 mAh battery – a 1 000 mAh increase over the previous K14 – and supports 45 W SUPERVOOC fast charging. OPPO Lab testing reports up to 705.4 hours of standby time, 30.33 hours of WhatsApp voice calls, 20.97 hours of YouTube playback, 15.03 hours of Instagram Reels, 14.39 hours of Maps navigation and 12.64 hours of BGMI gaming at 60 fps. Under mixed‑usage conditions the device lasts approximately 2.95 days. The battery retains 80 % capacity after 1 800 full charge cycles, equating to roughly six years of daily charging. Bypass charging and 10 W reverse wired charging are supported.
Thermal management uses a 5000 mm² SuperCool VC Vapour Chamber (up from 3900 mm² on the K14) backed by a 19 989 mm² graphite spread to dissipate heat during prolonged workloads. AI GameBoost 3.0 optimises performance, touch responsiveness and power consumption for gaming.
Design, Build Quality and Protection
The K14 Plus features a Damage‑Proof 360° Armour Body built from aerospace‑grade aluminium alloy, structural collision beams, air‑bag‑style cushioning and reinforced corners. It carries multiple ingress protection ratings – IP69K, IP69, IP68 and IP66 – covering a wide range of water and dust exposure. The aluminium frame has passed 1 000 bend‑cycle tests. The device measures 16.26 × 7.76 × 0.84 cm, weighs about 207 g, and includes an in‑display optical fingerprint sensor.
Software, AI Features and Connectivity
Running ColorOS 16, the phone integrates the All‑New Trinity Engine with Parallel Loading and Adaptive Scheduling Architecture. OPPO Lab testing attributes up to a 15 % improvement in overall smoothness to the Adaptive Scheduling Architecture. AI‑driven utilities include AI Ultra‑Clear Documents, AI editing tools, AI Call Guard, One‑Tap Security Guard, and AI LinkBoost 4.0 (which combines intelligent network optimisation, WLAN auto‑login and dual‑link acceleration). O+ Connect enables seamless file transfers between OPPO phones and iPhones. Extended Use Care 2.0 provides Smart System Maintenance, Deep Phone Care and a System Smoothness Report to help maintain long‑term performance.
