Organic Recycling Systems’ Subsidiary Secures Second O&M Contract for Gorakhpur CBG Plant

Organic Recycling Systems Limited (BSE: 543997), an integrated CleanTech and decarbonisation platform, announced that its wholly‑owned subsidiary, Solapur Bioenergy Systems Private Limited (SBESPL), has been awarded a second consecutive Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contract by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for the Gorakhpur Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant in Uttar Pradesh.

The renewed agreement is for a two‑year term commencing on 13 August 2026 and expiring on 12 August 2028. The contract is valued at approximately ₹15.46 crore. Under the agreement SBESPL will continue to provide end‑to‑end O&M services, including plant operations, preventive and breakdown maintenance, safety compliance, and manpower management, for IOCL’s 200 TPD paddy‑straw‑based CBG facility.

The Gorakhpur plant processes agro‑residues such as paddy straw, press mud and cattle dung to produce compressed biogas and nutrient‑rich organic manure, thereby supporting India’s energy security, reducing agricultural stubble burning, and enhancing rural livelihoods in the region.

The contract renewal coincides with the rollout of GOBARdhan – India’s National Unified Scheme for Compressed Biogas, which builds on the earlier SATAT initiative to accelerate the CBG ecosystem through assured offtake, stable pricing, capital assistance, pipeline connectivity and access to finance. ORSL’s continued selection as the O&M partner underscores its operational performance during the preceding contract period and positions the company to benefit from the next phase of growth in the country’s clean‑energy and circular bio‑economy sectors.
