Ltd., a leading Indian clean‑energy developer and EPC contractor, announced the successful commissioning of a 112 MWp DC (80 MW AC) ground‑mounted solar power project for Hexa Climate Solutions Private Limited at Jam in Wardha district, Maharashtra. The plant reached its Commercial Operation Date on 3 June 2026.

Technical Specifications

  • The solar field spans approximately 300 acres and utilizes fixed‑tilt mounting structures equipped with 300 kW string inverters.
  • A 132 kV pooling substation, comprising four bays (two power transformers, one bus coupler, and one line bay), was commissioned on 4 December 2025.
  • Evacuation infrastructure includes a 1.9 km, 33 kV DC transmission line linking the plant to the 132 kV substation.
  • Oriano delivered the project on a turnkey EPC basis, covering project‑specific studies (PSS), all regulatory approvals, and a two‑year Operations & Maintenance contract.

Expected Performance

The facility is projected to generate roughly 196 million units (MUs) of clean electricity annually, which will offset an estimated 140,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. This generation capacity is equivalent to supplying renewable power to over 160,000 Indian households.
