Commissioning Overview
Oriano Clean Energy Pvt. Ltd., a leading Indian clean‑energy EPC firm, announced that its 87 MWp (60 MW AC) ground‑mounted solar power project for Radiance Renewables achieved Commercial Operation Date on 27 May 2026 in Korwar village, Kalaburagi district, Karnataka. The plant occupies roughly 208 acres and was delivered on a turnkey EPC basis, including balance‑of‑system EPC with fixed‑tilt mounting structures, central inverters, and a 110 kV evacuation system comprising a switchyard, grid sub‑station (GSS), and a 2.65 km, 110 kV transmission line, together with all required STU approvals, enabling direct integration with the Karnataka state transmission network.
Expected Output and Environmental Impact
The facility is expected to generate about 160 million units (MUs) of electricity each year, which will offset approximately 114,500 tonnes of CO₂ annually – an amount comparable to the electricity consumption of roughly 130,000 Indian households.

In a statement, Chief Operating Officer Amit Agarwal said the project demonstrates Oriano’s ability to deliver large‑scale solar assets with precision and speed, citing the company’s decade‑long EPC experience and the partnership with Radiance Renewables, a developer committed to quality and HSE standards.
Recent Track Record and Portfolio Scale
Oriano highlighted that it has now commissioned four large utility‑scale projects in the past two months for global independent power producers, with two additional projects slated for commissioning, bringing its total annual delivery close to 1 GW. The company’s aggregate portfolio exceeds 4 GWp, of which 1.7 GWp has been commissioned for global IPPs and corporate clients. To date, Oriano has executed more than 50 project sites across 15+ states and union territories and employs over 500 professionals. Its EHV infrastructure capabilities include the commissioning of more than 15 substations ranging from 66 kV to 220 kV, including ISTS substations and transmission lines, positioning it as one of the few EPC players in India with integrated development, EPC, and EHV execution capacity.
