Orient Green Power Commissions 17.6 MW Solar Plant

Orient Green Power Company Limited's subsidiary, Delta Renewable Energy Private Limited (DELTA), has successfully commissioned an aggregate installed capacity of 17.60 MW AC (24.64 MW DC) Solar Power Project. The commissioning occurred during the late evening hours of September 22, 2026.

The project is located at one or more locations in Vandavasi Taluk and Chetpet Taluk, Thiruvannamalai District, Tamil Nadu. It was developed on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis under a contract with M/s Remon Solutions Private Limited (REMON), which was previously intimated on December 29, 2025.

This new capacity, combined with the 7 MW AC (9.8 MW DC) solar plant already commissioned in December 2025, brings the company's aggregate installed solar power capacity to 24.6 MW AC (34.44 MW DC). This expansion completes the solar expansion objective that the company had committed to under its 2024 Rights Issue.
