Oriental Rail Infrastructure Limited has secured a new works contract valued at ₹3,36,30,000.00 (Rupees Three Crore Thirty-Six Lakh Thirty Thousand Only). The order was awarded by Modern Coach Factory (MCF), Raebareli, which is part of Indian Railways.
The contract involves the in-house manufacturing of 50 sets of seats and berths for LWS(DDG) coaches. The company is required to deliver the completed works to MCF, Raebareli. The final deadline for the execution and completion of this contract is March 2, 2027.
Payment terms specify that the Railway will make payments for the works executed at the rates specified in the contract schedule. Payments are contingent upon satisfactory execution and completion of the work, with certification required in accordance with the contract terms. The final payment will be made upon the full completion of the works.
The company has confirmed that this is a domestic contract awarded by a domestic entity. It has also been confirmed that the company's promoters, promoter group, or group companies have no interest in Modern Coach Factory (MCF), Raebareli, Indian Railways. Furthermore, the order does not qualify as a related party transaction.
